On today's "Current Sports with Al Martin" an entire show is dedicated to the NBA Finals. The Golden State Warriors topped the Cleveland Cavaliers 129-120 to win the Larry O'Brien Trophy in five games, nearly sweeping through the playoffs with a 16-1 record. But few congratulations are being passed out today, not from Al. The move of Kevin Durant to the juggernaut Warriors ruined the balance of the NBA, according to him. Current Sports engineer Isaac Constans breaks down the difference between Durant's move and others to superteams of the past. Yet, some callers are not so quick to see it that way. In a caller-laden hour, debate ensues over whether Durant is at fault for chasing his ring or whether it's him just doing what's best for himself. Also, where does the NBA go from here? Hear that discussion, plus if there's hope for the restoration of parity. To finalize this edition of Current Sports, some non-basketball topics pop up. Al delivers a summary of what MSU players had to say in their first media availability since sexual assault charges were pressed against members of the football team.
