The No. 6 Michigan State men's basketball team defeated No. 13 Maryland on Monday night, 69-55. The Spartans, winners of 12 straight, improved to 17-2 (8-0 in the Big Ten) and will hit the road to play No. 19 Iowa on Thursday. The team also extended a conference win streak to 20 games, which dates back to last season. 

Current Sports host Al Martin talked with players Cassius Winston, Xavier Tillman, and Kenny Goins in the locker room. All three were asked about the conference win streak and the answers varied, including one candid answer from Goins concerning "disrespect" that he feels the Spartans have received over time.
