Al Slamer has been at Holt since 2008, where he has a 161-93 career record. Slamer played football at Wayne Memorial HS from 1971 to 1973 and then went on to play college football at Eastern Michigan University from 1974 to 1977. He got started coaching high school football at Battle Creek Central from 1987 to 2007.
