The write-in campaign of Lance Enderle in the 8th congressional district Democratic primary has failed to earn him a spot on the November ballot.

Enderle had hoped to take on incumbent Republican Mike Rogers.

The only name that appeared on the democratic ballot was Kande Ngalamulume. Ngalamulume withdrew from the race, but did so too late to take his name off the primary ballot...or for anyone else to get on the ballot.

Without campaigning, Ngalamulume got over 26-thousand votes, far surpassing the write-in total for Enderle. Now, Ngalamulume tells the Associated Press that he's "80-percent" leaning towards re-entering the race. He expects to announce his decision today.
