LANSING, MI –
Michigan 8th district Congressman Mike Rogers says the U.S. House would work to restore economic certainty if Republicans win the majority after the November election. Rogers says business-owners are hampered by increasing regulation supported by Democrats and the Obama administration.
"Real quick example," he begins. "They took something called a 1099 form that a small business has to give to the federal government--from 10 times a year to over 90 times a year. That's in all of this rules and regulation. That means they don't get to pay attention to their customers, they're not selling their products .we gotta do away with that kind of thing."
Rogers' Democratic opponent Lance Enderle says many 1099's are issued because the GOP has allowed too much job outsourcing.
