LANSING, MI –
State Attorney General Mike Cox says FBI agents were justified in shooting and killing a Muslim leader in a raid last year on a Dearborn warehouse. As we hear from Michigan Public Radio's Rick Pluta, the attorney general says the FBI did not break any state laws.

Imam Luqman Ameen Abdulluh was the target of an FBI sting operation. The FBI agents were attempting to arrest Abdulluh on stolen property and illegal firearms charges. The attorney general's report says Abdulluh refused to surrender and fired in the direction of the agents before they shot him 20 times.
But Dawud Walid of the Council on American-Islamic Relations of Michigan says there are still unanswered questions.
"Until we can review the information within, we have to question the veracity and the authority of this report," he says.
Walid says he'd like to see a surveillance video of the raid, and hear more from others who were arrested. He says they can't talk right now because they face criminal charges.
The U.S. Department of Justice is also looking into the raid.
