Capitol Closed By State Police As Bills Are Taken Up

The state House has taken up the first of two bills that would make Michigan a so?called "right?to?work" state.

Democrats called for removing an appropriation in the bill that would make it immune to a voter referendum. The amendment was rejected. The Michigan State Police have closed the Capitol doors, saying the building has reached its capacity.
