Dan Jimenez has been a baseball umpire for over 40 years, with his career rooted back to 1971 officiating at the MSU intramural program. In addition to 35 years of experience as a guidance counselor and 28 years as a basketball coach, Jimenez is not slowing down as he continues to officiate today. In 2012, he was one of the state finals baseball officials.
Jimenez joins Al to talk about the pressures and the rewards of officiating, and how the role has changed over the years.
