Sat. Feb. 9 at 8pm and Sat. Feb. 23 at 10pm on 90.5 FM | WKAR and MSU Jazz bring you one of the traditional year-opening highlights from MSU's College of Music.

It's Michigan State's annual commemorative concert and presentation celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Spirituals, Prayer and Protest will also include a special tribute to Detroit’s very own Aretha Franklin, featuring memorable tunes from Motown. The program was curated by the newly formed College of Music Color Me Music student organization.
