Michigan is now one of 12 states with very high obesity rates. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released figures from a government survey today that showed at least 30 percent of adults are obese in Michigan, a figure unchanged from 2010.
Colorado has the lowest rate at just under 21 percent.
