If you haven't had time to get out to the 15th annual East Lansing Film Festival yet -- go soon! This popular event continues through November 15.
The festival offers an assortment of documentaries, features and shorts, along with films from up-and-coming filmmakers. It is the largest and most diverse film festival in Michigan to screen independent and foreign features, documentaries, shorts and student films from around the world.
WKAR is a partner for the festival. WKAR is the home for many independent films and documentaries, including the Independent Lens series. One of the films from that series, "As Goes Janesville," is featured in this year's festival.
