WKAR is a proud sponsor of the 15th annual East Lansing Film Festival which begins on November 7 and continues through November 15.
The festival is the largest and most diverse film festival in Michigan to screen independent and foreign features, documentaries, shorts and student films from around the world.
"WKAR is pleased to be a media sponsor for this annual event," says WKAR communications manager Jeanie Croope. "It's a good fit for us -- Our PBS line-up includes many independent documentaries and shorts. In fact, the Independent Lens film 'As Goes Janesville' that aired on WKAR in October will be included in the festival line-up."
