Lugnuts lose last game to Silver Hawks

SOUTH BEND, IN – The South Bend Silver Hawks used two-run rallies in the fourth and fifth innings to defeat the Lansing Lugnuts 4-3 yesterday afternoon at The Cove, finishing off the 2009 regular season. Lansing finished the campaign with a franchise record for losses, topping the previous mark of 75 defeats set in 2001.
