DETROIT, MI –

As General Motors continues to emerge from bankruptcy, the success of the Cadillac nameplate, led by models built in Lansing, is crucial.

GM's luxury line may not lead the automaker in sales volume compared to Chevrolet or Buick, but it's important to GM's image.

WKAR's Scott Pohl spoke this week with David Caldwell, Cadillac's Communications Manager, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Caldwell says Cadillac has been on a mission to revamp the brand.

WKAR’s first live pledge drive since federal funding was eliminated is happening now. Our goal for the drive is $60,000 and reaching it will bring us one step closer to closing the federal funding gap.
