MSU women win over Illinois; DeHaan breaks record

EAST LANSING, MI – The Michigan State women's basketball team cruised to a 64-43 win over Illinois last night at the Breslin Center, but the story of the night was senior Allyssa DeHaan breaking the NCAA Division I blocked shots record. DeHaan deflected a running shot by Lydia McCully along the baseline for 487th career block, surpassing St. Mary's junior Louella Tomlinson, who set the mark last Thursday.
