MSU-Dubai executive director leaving

By Scott Pohl, WKAR

EAST LANSING, MI –

The executive director of Michigan State University's campus in Dubai is leaving that post.

Brendan Mullen's two-year contract to direct the Dubai campus from its inception expired in December. He will continue in the post through the end of the academic year.

Mullen plans to return to the East Lansing campus. As of July first, he'll join the department of sociology faculty.

In it's second year, the Dubai campus has 25 instructors and staff, and about 100 students.

MSU provost Kim Wilcox says there will be a national search to replace Mullen in Dubai.
