By Rob South, WKAR

LANSING, MI –

City of Lansing employees could have their work week cut to four days and wages capped at 36 hours under a budget plan unveiled by Mayor Virg Bernero Monday. The city is facing a $12-million budget gap. The plan also includes an early retirement option and consolidation of the city's maintenance garages. The Mayor present the 109-million dollar budget to city council Monday evening.
