Izzo tells AP: Still no decision on Cavs job

Michigan State coach Tom Izzo writes in a text message to The Associated Press that he still hasn't made a decision about coaching the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Izzo's text message was received late Friday morning.

The longtime Spartans' coach flew to Cleveland on Thursday and visited with members of the Cavs' front office and coaching staff.

He returned to Lansing, Mich. late Thursday night.

Izzo potentially could make $6 million a season and have a chance to coach LeBron James.

The Cavs fired coach Mike Brown last month after losing in the second round of the NBA playoffs.
