Lugnuts out of contention

UNDATED – The Lake County Captains defeated the Lansing Lugnuts 8-6 in Game 1 of a Sunday doubleheader at Classic Park, eliminating Lansing from postseason contention and clinching a playoff berth for the West Michigan Whitecaps.

The final game of the Lugnuts' season is today at 1 against Lake County.
WKAR’s first live pledge drive since federal funding was eliminated is happening now. Our goal for the drive is $60,000 and reaching it will bring us one step closer to closing the federal funding gap.
