LANSING, MI – The Michigan secretary of state says the voter registration deadline is here for the Nov. 2 election.
Outgoing Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land last month reminded Michigan residents that Monday is the last day to register to vote. The election includes races for governor, attorney general, secretary of state and Congress.
To register, applicants may stop by a Secretary of State branch or a local clerk's office.
Voters may register in person or by mail. Details are on the secretary of state's website.
Those who wish to receive their absentee ballot by mail must submit their application by 2 p.m. Oct. 30.
