Optimism is rampant at the Michigan Republican election night party in Detroit. It appears Republican nominee Rick Snyder will coast to a victory in the race for governor.
Republican nominee for attorney general Bill Schuette says things also look promising for the rest of the GOP ticket.
"I'm trying to think of my thesaurus - tsunami, tidal wave, monsoon, tornado - it's a big, big win," Schuette said.
But Schuette says he's not ready to claim victory in his race. The Democratic nominee, Genessee County Prosecutor David Leyton, says the race for attorney general was far too negative.
