Aldridge leads Portland over Detroit, 100-78

By AP

PORTLAND, OR – LaMarcus Aldridge had 19 points and 17 rebounds, and the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Detroit Pistons 100-78 on Tuesday night, ending Detroit's modest two-game winning
streak.

Nicolas Batum added 17 points for the Blazers, who led by as many as 25 points.

Portland's three-time All-Star Brandon Roy raised eyebrows when he left for an extended period in the first half and iced his right leg. The Blazers were plagued by injuries last season and are still without centers Joel Przybilla and Greg Oden.

The Pistons, who opened the season with five straight losses before winning their last two, were led by Rodney Stuckey with 17 points.
