MSU dean leaving for college presidency

By Scott Pohl, WKAR

EAST LANSING, MI –
Jeffrey Armstrong, dean of Michigan State University's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, has been named president of a college in California.

The Lansing State Journal reports that Armstrong will become president of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo on February 1.

Armstrong recently submitted a budget-cutting reorganization plan for the Ag and Natural Resources College at MSU. Under the plan, 13 departments would be reduced to eight.
