Egyptian Stocks Open Higher On Election News

NPR's business news starts with relief in Egypt's stock market. Peaceful voting in Egypt gave the country's stock market a boost. Cairo's market was closed yesterday when the landmark elections started there, and when trading opened today, the benchmark stock index surged more than five percent.
