The winner of a John Deere competition will help launch TikTok channel

MICHEL MARTIN, HOST:

Good morning. I'm Michel Martin. John Deere, the venerable agriculture equipment company, is looking for some main-character Gen Z energy. They've launched a campaign to find their next chief tractor officer, whose main job will be to - and this is a quote - "create face-melting social media content that shows all the incredible and unexpected ways farming and construction work hits different." The gig comes with a face-melting salary close to $200,000. It's MORNING EDITION. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
