WKAR-MSU

Dear WKAR Members and Supporters,

President Simon announced at a press conference Monday (Jan. 11) that MSU will NOT participate in the FCC Broadcast Incentive Auction. This means that WKAR-TV will retain its broadcast spectrum and the station will be here to serve you. At the press conference, President Simon announced a partnership with Detroit Public Television.????

Over the past two weeks, WKAR has received hundreds of emails and postings on social media. Further, more than 300 members of the community attended a public forum on Jan. 4 to support the station. We at WKAR are truly touched by your support. You have inspired us to bring you more award-winning programs that you have come to expect and enjoy.?

Please continue to support and stay engaged with WKAR.

Thank you,

Prabu David?
Dean, MSU College of Communication Arts and Sciences?
