A laptop fire forced an emergency stop for JetBlue flight number 915 Tuesday, The Associated Press reports.

The plane, headed to San Francisco from New York, was diverted after a carry-on bag started emitting smoke.

The plane landed safely at Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids just after 8 p.m. – the fire was put out by the time of landing.

Airport officials said that the plane continued its trip to San Francisco by 8:50 p.m. A laptop’s lithium battery was reportedly to blame.
