MSU and Hines Go Out with Bang at Breslin

WKAR
MSU Senior Center Jasmine Hines kisses center court goodbye on Senior Day, playing her last game at the Breslin Center. Forward Akyah Taylor and guard Cara Miller were also honored.

MSU senior center Jasmine Hines scored a career-high 36 points, and sophomore guard Tori Jankoska made three free throws in the final 39 seconds of the third overtime to lift No. 20 Michigan State to a 107-105 victory over No. 5 Ohio State, putting a halt to a Big Ten Championship celebration for the Buckeyes.

It was Senior Day as the team played the final home game of the season, honoring Hines, Akyah Taylor, and Cara Miller for their noteworthy Spartan careers.

WKAR's Al Martin reports from the Breslin Center.

WKAR’s first live pledge drive since federal funding was eliminated is happening now. Our goal for the drive is $60,000 and reaching it will bring us one step closer to closing the federal funding gap.
