Detroit Red Wings, Tampa Bay Lightning, Conor McGregor Retirement, Anthony Ianni, MSU Spring Game, and  Mark Dantonio.

On today's "Current Sports with Al Martin" down 3-1, the Red Wings now have to go into a must-win mentality. Al and engineer Isaac Constans go over whether last night's loss is the end of the series and the end of the playoff streak. Going off of that topic, the pair also decide whether the Red Wings should go into rebuilding mode and sacrifice the playoff streak. Also, Al and Isaac try to explicate Conor McGregor's shocking retirement and wonder if this really is the end. Then, Anthony Ianni, former Michigan State basketball player and current motivational speaker, is on the show to talk about his alma mater's sports situation and his career. Ianni, diagnosed with autism as a child, also relays his story for Autism Awareness Month. Winding down the show, Al plays a clip from Mark Dantonio's press conference regarding the departures of Montez Sweat and Craig Evans.

WKAR’s first live pledge drive since federal funding was eliminated is happening now. Our goal for the drive is $60,000 and reaching it will bring us one step closer to closing the federal funding gap.
