The weekend ahead is filled with sporting events in the East Lansing area, and "Current Sports with Al Martin" will be making the rounds. First and foremost, MSU football will host Senior Day, a Saturday game against Maryland. Before kickoff, there are stories swirling around the program, and Al addresses the news that head coach Mark Dantonio has been listed as a semifinalist for a prestigious coach of the year award. With the turnaround this season, Al lists off all that Dantonio had to do in the course of one offseason, but engineer Isaac Constans debates the case of a few other programs who have impressed even more. That's not the only event this weekend, however, as MSU men's and women's basketball, as well as men's soccer, have home games, too.
