WKAR’s Ready To Learn Service will host a free Raising Readers Family Fun Workshop on Thursday, March 15, 5:30-7 p.m., at Gier Park Elementary School in Lansing.The workshop is targeted to families and children ages 4-6, although siblings are welcome to attend. Participants will learn activities that are fun but also offer a new way to build reading skills.
Registration and a pizza supper are 5:30-6 p.m. p.m. The program is 6-7 p.m. Families attending will take home a free book for each child and learning activities for children and adults to do together.
