Evening at WKAR: Call the Midwife Sneak Preview

FREE – Thursday, September 20, at 7 p.m. | Get a preview of the new British series, Call the Midwife and view the first hour! | RESERVE SEATS HEREJoin us for an An Evening at WKAR, where you can enjoy an hour-long big-screen preview of the upcoming television series Call the Midwife. This eight-part British drama follows Jenny Lee, a young woman from the wealthy English countryside who is thrust into the slums of London’s East End as a midwife. Set in the years after World War II, “Call the Midwife” attracted an audience even larger than that of “Downton Abbey” when it first premiered in the UK.

Guests for the evening will also enjoy light refreshments and the opportunity to win program-related door prizes!

On TV | Following the Evening at WKAR’s Call the Midwife screening, the program will premiere on Sunday, September 30, on WKAR-TV and be repeated the following Fridays at 10 p.m.
