Weekend Warm Up Ahead for Lansing

Spring-like weather returns to the greater Lansing area this weekend after days of rain and snow.

Central Michigan will see sunnier and warmer conditions this weekend after days of gray skies, rain and snow, according to forecasts from the National Weather Service office in Grand Rapids.

Thursday's storm brought up to four inches of snow to parts of our area. In Barry County, 10,000 customers lost electricity according to the NWS.

Meteorologists expect the rain/snow mix to end early Friday morning. The forecast:

FRIDAY: Becoming sunny, High of 47 degrees.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, Low of of 28 degrees.

SATURDAY: Sunny, High near 58 degrees and Low around 46 degrees.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy, High of 68 degrees and Low of 57 degrees.

MONDAY: Chance of storms after 8:00 a.m. and High near 70 degrees.
