If you’re wondering what City of Lansing celebrations are going on for the Fourth of July, here’s the scoop from WKAR’s Katie Cook.

Fourth of July celebrations in Lansing today included a parade along the Capitol loop this morning.

Festivities continue around the downtown Lansing riverfront with The Grand Experience, where you can walk along the River Trail or go kayaking, and Picnic Food Truck is serving dinner from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m.

And at 8, the Fourth of July Concert at Adado Riverfront Park will begin, featuring the Lansing Concert Band. Fireworks will immediately follow the concert.

There will also be fireworks at Cooley Law School Stadium after the Lansing Lugnuts game against the West Michigan Whitecaps.
