The city of Lansing has lifted its state of emergency.  City Hall is open once again for in-person business.

Lansing Mayor Andy Schor says in-person City Hall operations will be phased in over time, especially as schools and day cares resume their normal schedules.

He says the city will now be able to provide services more directly, rather than by appointment only.

Schor says he’s also pleased the city’s community centers are open too.

“Being able to have them open with programming is tremendously important because we know that kids and seniors and others need things to do, and now we’re able to provide those resources,” Schor says.

Lansing City Hall is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The mayor’s office is taking appointments by request.

A complete list of office and community center hours can be found on the city of Lansing website.
