
Dr. Robert L. Stephenson
Host and Writer of Curious CrewRobert L. Stephenson, EdD, is the writer and host of “Curious Crew,” the award-winning children's science program from WKAR Public Media.
Stephenson began working with WKAR in 2011 with the development of a series of video shorts entitled “Science Minute.” That series evolved into the full-length “Curious Crew” program in 2014.
Stephenson has been the Ingham Intermediate School District STEM Consultant since July of 2014. He is a former K-12 teacher and has also served as a district principal. He has received numerous teaching accolades, including the 2006 Presidential Award for Excellence in Science Teaching, the 2009-2010 Michigan Teacher of the Year, and was a finalist for the 2010 National Teacher of the Year.
Stephenson earned his Doctor of Education degree from Walden University.
