East Lansing Mayor Mark Meadows

We talk with East Lansing Mayor Mark Meadows about the budget for the coming fiscal year, plans to demolish the long-vacant property at Grand River and Abbot, and more.

There’s much to talk about in the city of East Lansing these days. The city council is putting the finishing touches on a budget for the coming fiscal year, and the long-empty former bank building at the corner of Grand River Avenue and Abbot Road is finally set to be demolished.

Current State talks with Mayor Mark Meadows about the issues he’s working on right now with the rest of the city council and city manager George Lahanas.

Scott Pohl has maintained an on-call schedule reporting for WKAR following his retirement after 36 years on the air at the station.
