Painting of Johann Sebastian Bach and his family by Toby Edward Rosenthal in 1870.

Sun. Apr. 4 at noon on 90.5 FM & STREAMING | On Easter Sunday go Baroque with Jamie Paisley, as he spends most of this week's episode of The Fugue with Johann Sebastian Bach's Easter Oratorio from 1725. At first it was the smaller size of a cantata, but Bach enjoyed its impact so much that he expanded it into the current oratorio form, a bit like Zack Snyder recently was able to do with his Justice League film.

MORE ABOUT THE FUGUE
