Lansing Lugnuts Unveil Team & New Uniforms

The Lansing Lugnuts debuted their new uniforms just hours before the opening season game on Saturday.

New team members and a new look were introduced to Lansing Lugnut fans before the opening game on Saturday.

Manager Cesar Martin, Pitching coach Willie Collazo and the rest of the roster were introduced to cheering fans in front of Cooley Law School Stadium hours before the opening season game.

In addition to the team, the team modeled their new batting practice uniforms just hours before their 6:05 p.m. game. against the Grand Lakes Loons.

It all took place during a "block party" to promote the team before the game.  Michigan Avenue in front of the stadium was blocked off for bands and other activities.

Snowy weather postponed the season opener scheduled for Thursday. The sun was bright above Saturday's pre-game activities.
