SPECIAL COVERAGE: The Impeachment Hearings

Public hearings of the House Impeachment Inquiry into President Trump continue this week, with coverage scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday beginning at 9am each day.

WKAR will provide live coverage from NPR News on 105.1 and AM 870 WKAR NewsTalk; from PBS NewsHour on WKAR World TV; and streaming online at wkar.org and at WKAR News on Facebook.

Coverage is scheduled to begin at 9am on Tue. 11/19, Wed. 11/20,  and Thu. 11/21.

PBS NewsHour will include a recap of each day's events during the daily broadcast at 7pm on WKAR HD 23.1 and NPR News will present a recap and analysis at 8pm on WKAR NewsTalk 105.1 FM.

WKAR World will present replays of the hearings beginning at 7pm each day.

NPR News coverage will be hosted by Michel Martin on Wednesday and Mary Louise Kelly on Friday. Others joining the coverage across the two day include NPR Senior Washington Editor and Correspondent Ron Elving, Congressional Correspondent Susan Davis, National Political Correspondent Mara Liasson, Political Correspondent Scott Detrow, Congressional Correspondent Susan Davis and Senior Political Editor/Correspondent Domenico Montanaro.
 
8 PM each day of testimony NPR’s Special Report will present a recap and analysis of the House Impeachment Hearings.

PBS NewsHour live coverage will be anchored by managing editor and anchor Judy Woodruff and will include contributions from other NewsHour reporters including Capitol Hill correspondent Lisa Desjardins, White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor, and Nick Schifrin, Foreign Affairs and Defense correspondent, and more. Woodruff will be joined by Michael Allen, Managing Director at Beacon Global Strategies, LLC and Mieke Eyong, Vice President at Third Way.

PBS NewsHour nightly broadcasts (WKAR HD 23.1 at 7 pm and WKAR World 23.2 at 10 pm) will include highlights from the day’s hearings and further analysis and reporting.
