Colorful, inflatable structure graces Common Ground landscape

courtesy/Architects of Air

There’s a strange and colorful new shape along the riverfront in Lansing. It's a large luminarium.

It’s not a childrens’ bouncy house, though it is inflatable.  And it’s not a cathedral, though its multicolored windows do impart the tranquility of stained glass art.  “Architects of Air” is a British company that builds and displays enormous inflatable structures all over the world.  The “Pentalum” here at Common Ground is a colorful creation of geometric grace.

Kim Lucas of Architects of Air talked with Current State.
