“Put your solar panels in a parking lot”: 900-acre project near Leslie heads to state review
An 800 to 900 acre solar project the size of more than 600 football fields could soon reshape parts of Leslie, Vevay and Onondaga townships. After local officials rejected the plan over acreage limits, developers took their case to the state. Supporters point to clean energy for 60,000 homes.
