CAPITAL REGION RESOURCES & SERVICES

Capital Area Anti-Trafficking Alliance (CAATA)
The Capital Area Anti-trafficking Alliance (CAATA) is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes. Including the training, education, mentoring and rehabilitation of individuals involved and at risk for human trafficking both labor and sexual.

Capital Area Response Effort (CARE)
CARE is a Domestic Violence Post Arrest Response Team and the only post-arrest response team for victims/survivors of domestic violence in Lansing, Lansing Township, Meridian Township, East Lansing and on the campus of Michigan State University.

End Violent Encounters (EVE)
End Violent Encounters (EVE) provides supportive services to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence, while empowering the community through education and awareness.

The Firecracker Foundation
The Firecracker Foundation is a nonprofit that provides holistic healing services to child survivors of sexual trauma under the age of 18 and their families in the tricounty area of Mid-Michigan.

Small Talk
Small Talk is a nationally accredited child advocacy center (CAC). A CAC is a child-friendly facility in which law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, mental health, medical and victim advocacy professionals work together to investigate abuse, help children heal from abuse, and hold offenders accountable. Small Talk is where children who are victims of abuse are interviewed and offered therapy at no cost.

Sparrow Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program (SANE)
The goal of the sexual assault nurse examiner program is to provide free coordinated, timely, comprehensive and compassionate care to pediatric and adult victims of sexual assault 24 hours a day.

Women's Center of Greater Lansing
The Women’s Center is dedicated to helping women realize their potential, support each other, achieve economic self-sufficiency, and develop emotional and physical well-being, regardless of income level. Services include career counseling and resume preparation, individual counseling, and a wide variety of support groups and workshops.

MICHIGAN STATEWIDE RESOURCES & SERVICES

Child and Family Charities
Through 6 division and 17 programs, Child and Family Charities offers a full-spectrum of support to over 7,000 children, youth and families each year in the mid-Michigan area. The primary mission of our private, nonprofit organization is to strengthen and support children, families, and individuals as they evolve and grow in a changing community.

Michigan Coalition to End Domestic & Sexual Violence
MCEDSV is dedicated to the empowerment of all the state's survivors of domestic and sexual violence.  Our mission is to develop and promote efforts aimed at the elimination of all domestic and sexual violence in Michigan.

Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force
MHTTF engages innumerable agencies to work together for the collaborative impact of awareness, support of prosecution of offenders, and identifying victims and putting forth every effort to assist them to become survivors.

MSU RESOURCES & SERVICES

MSU Safe Place
MSU Safe Place is a program that addresses relationship violence and stalking. They provide advocacy, emergency shelter, counseling, support groups, safety planning, information and referrals to survivors of violence and their minor children. All support services are free and confidential. Additionally, the organization works to increase awareness about relationship violence and stalking through community education and outreach efforts.

MSU Sexual Assault Program
The MSU Sexual Assault Program (SAP) responds to those impacted by sexual violence and works to create a community free of violence and oppression. MSU SAP also provides counseling, advocacy, and support groups to MSU students.
