Jackson High School Jazz Band

Jackson jazz students graduated most of their seniors last year, so the band is comprised of mostly underclassman. And since jazz is not a scheduled class, students rehearse after school. Includes full preview performances of "West Coast Blues," by Wes Montgomery and "The Mooche," by Duke Ellington, recorded in WKAR Studio A at Michigan State University. Hosted by WKAR's Peter Whorf.
