Current Sports #495 | June 23, 2015

Current Sports

Athletes battling cancer, Pete Rose's gambling as a player, ESPN's dubious college football Future Power Rankings, Top Five Tuesday and so much more!

On a beautiful June day in East Lansing, Current Sports bats off with the unveiled findings of Pete Rose's gambling as a player. Al chronicles Rose's gambling life but also cites why it's not as bad as it looks. Should he be in the Hall of Fame. Then, coming out of the break, Current Sports is honored to have cancer survivor Beth Trierweiler onto the show to talk about her battle with cancer, work with different organizations, and throwing out the first pitch at the Lansing Lugnuts game. The show runs to the end, with Al and Isaac's 'Top Five Sports Figures Who Battled Cancer.'
