WKAR Radio station manager Peter Whorf will host 90.5 Classical on Wednesday, October 3, from 10-12 with special guest Timothy Muffitt, Music Director and Conductor of the Lansing Symphony Orchestra.
The two will preview the Lansing Symphony Orchestra's 2012/2013 through discussion and various recordings. Some of Maestro Muffitt's favorite compositions will be included in the segment.
Through the sharing lively conversation and stories about favorite pieces and performers, listeners will have the opportunity to better get to know WKAR's new manager and the symphony conductor in a more personal way.
The symphony's next concert will include works by Mendelssohn, Mozart and Shoshtakovich and will take place on Saturday, October 6, at Wharton Center. WKAR's Jody Knol will again host a PreView Conversation at 7:15 prior to the concert.
