Sat. Apr. 25 at 5:30pm on WKAR-HD 23.1 | Four teams from mid-Michigan will compete for scholarships to Michigan State University in the QuizBusters Championship Series.
During the Division Championship the Ionia Bulldogs play against the Okemos Chiefs at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Lansing Homeschoolers Chargers versus the Quincy Orioles at 6:00 p.m.
Then at 6:30 p.m., the winning teams in each division will compete for the Grand Championship. Division winners will receive up to eight $5,000 tuition scholarships to Michigan State University. Grand champions will receive five one-year textbook scholarships provided by the Student Book Store.
QuizBusters is wrapping up its 26th season. Host Matt Ottinger has been throwing out challenging questions for the contestants since the show began. The program is underwritten in part by Consumers Energy and the Michigan Education Association.
