Great Lakes Concerts is a weekly program featuring recordings from regional orchestras and professional Classical musicians from around the state of Michigan.

August 15
Copland’s Four Dance Episodes from Rodeo is performed by the Jackson Symphony, and the Diderot Quartet plays Mozart’s Quartet No. 19, Dissonant.

August 22
The Ann Arbor Symphony performs Kodaly’s Dances of Galanta, Michael Coonrod and the Traverse Symphony play Kenji Bunch: Concerto for Piano, Left Hand, and Voces 8 sings 16th century pieces.

August 29
The Jackson Symphony performs On the Town dances by Bernstein and Blue Cathedral by Higdon while Yi-Jia Susanne Hou and the Lansing Symphony play Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in e-minor.
