Tuesdays, Jul. 6–20, at 9pm on WKAR-HD 23.1 & STREAMING | Explore a broad collection of experiences, perspectives and points of view through a variety of short films highlighting the diversity of the Latino/a/x community and illuminating the vibrancy of the U.S. and Puerto Rico.As part of its commitment to support and present diverse content created by a broad array of storytellers, PBS presents The Latino Experience, a new three-part anthology series of short fiction and nonfiction films. From dramas to documentaries and comedies to magical realism, The Latino Experience showcases an exciting lineup of creative talent, both in front of and behind the camera.

Episode One | Tue., Jul. 6
A little boy tries to help his sickly grandfather. Women grapple with life on the border. Latinx letterpress printers combine art with social practice. A sentimentalist works to fulfill her bucket list. LGBTQ dance couples blaze a trail.

Episode Two | Tue., Jul. 13
A young girl makes an image-altering decision. A Guatemalan truck driver and pastor copes with the pandemic. A mystical mechanic helps a boy fix his mother’s car. A pregnant MBA student’s due date and exam date conflict, forcing her to make a choice.

Episode Three | Tue, Jul. 20
An artist longs to paint a hillside community green. A single mother and veteran takes a new job that triggers her PTSD. A woman’s deceased parents return to help her during the pandemic. A family grapples with politics during a holiday dinner.
