About 100 families have moved into 1855 Place, the new campus housing complex still under development at Michigan State University.

Michigan State University is expecting thousands of students for the fall semester. The official move-in begins this weekend. We talk with Dr. Ray Gasser of MSU's Residence Education and Housing Services department and resident assistant Anneka Hart.

We’re still in the waning days of summer, but the start of the fall semester at Michigan State University is just a few days away. An estimated  50,000 students are enrolled at MSU in Fall 2016, and with the start of the academic year comes an annual tradition: Move In Weekend.

MSU housing officials have been getting ready for the big move.

Current State talks with Dr. Ray Gasser, interim director for Residence Education and Housing Services at MSU, and Anneka Hart, an engineering major at MSU and a returning resident assistant.
